I am postdoctoral researcher and have received my PhD in Health Sciences from VIB, Ghent University. During my PhD, I developed a user-friendly tool called MAPPI-DAT, as a combined (meta-) data management and analysis environment, for the high-throughput protein-protein interaction data generated from cell microarray MAPPIT technique, developed in CRL lab (VIB). I have also developed a novel pipeline, to detect protein association from publically available high-throughput mass spectrometry based proteomics experiments. To extend the accessibility for the derived association network, I have also designed and build a protein association database called the online Tabloid Proteome (tabloidproteome.com).
My current the research aim is further extension and development of the online Tabloid Proteome database, by expanding existing association network through the inclusion of additional data, and by further mining the acquired association network for the biological knowledge.
